Amazonas is Brazil's largest state, covering 1.6 million square kilometers, and Manaus is the capital city. The airport is Aeroporto Internacional Eduardo Gomes (https://airport-manaus.com.br/en). The 2014 FIFA World Cup was held in Manaus, and it is a tourist destination. At this point, it is envisioned that the competition rounds will be held in the Palace of Justice and the final dinner at the Rio Negro Palace (see pictures below).
